The Recovery Village: The IAFF Recovery Center in Upper Marlboro, Maryland is a one-of-a-kind addiction treatment facility for IAFF members, exclusively Firefighters and EMS First Responders. We specialize in treating addiction, PTSD, behavioral health issues, and co-occurring disorders for IAFF members only. IAFF Recovery Center is a safe haven for Firefighters and EMS First Responders who understand the fire service culture and associated pressure from the job to heal from anxiety and substance abuse disorders. Being at an exclusive facility will allow you to safely engage with other Firefighters and EMS First Responders that have faced similar challenges (from substance abuse to PTSD). We use evidence based approaches, such as cognitive behavior therapy and exposure therapy, to help treat IAFF members suffering from trauma.
